š„ Tolik Mod - The Ultimate Moonshine Experience!
Welcome to the Tolik Mod! This mod brings a hilarious, immersive, and fully functional moonshining ecosystem into your Minecraft world. From brewing mash to dealing with immortal alcoholics, this mod adds a massive amount of gameplay, structures, and custom entities!
š Now fully translated into 6 languages: English, Russian, German, French, Italian, and Spanish!
š ļø Brewing & Distilling
- The Mash Barrel: Add crops (Potatoes, Wheat, Beetroots) to start fermenting Mash. Warning: You MUST attach a Glass Pressure Valve to the barrel, or it will explode with the power of a Charged Creeper when fermentation finishes!
- The Mash Bucket: A custom bucket to carry your fermented liquid. It features a custom durability bar acting as a spoil timer. If you wait too long, the mash spoils! (Tip: Throw a spoiled bucket into water for 2 seconds to wash it out).
- The Copper Distiller: Build your setup dynamically! Place a Copper Pot on a lit campfire, cover it with a Copper Lid, and attach a Copper Coil.
- Distillation Quality: The final alcohol (Moonshine or Vodka) gets a random quality rating (0-100%) depending on the ingredients used. Potatoes make perfect Vodka, Wheat makes perfect Moonshine!
- Maintenance & Catalysts: The distiller oxidizes and gets dirty every 3 uses, ruining future batches. Clean it using a new Metal Sponge (with custom grinding sounds and particles!). Need alcohol faster? Trade for a Catalyst to double distillation speed for 5 minutes!
š§āāļø Entities & Characters
- Tolik (The Immortal Drunkard): Summoned by drinking a "Suspicious Bottle". He follows you, complains about Minecraft ecology, randomly builds brick walls when you sprint, pees on trees, and begs for alcohol.
- The Good & Bad Ends: Give him high-quality booze (90%+), and he will shower you with rare loot (Diamonds, Netherite). Give him terrible booze, and he will spawn The Squirrel (Belochka) ā a terrifying hallucination that chases him away, resetting his memory!
- Enraged Mode: If you break a bottle of Vodka near him, he goes into a fit of rage and attacks you with laser beams!
šŗ The Drunkard Villager
A new villager type found in custom structures.
- Crop Thief: He steals crops from village farms to make his own mash.
- Barrels Required: He demands to have at least two Mash Barrels near him. If he does, he will trade you a Catalyst once a day. If his barrels are broken, he reverts to a normal villager.
- Breeding: Give 90%+ quality Vodka to two Drunkards, and they will breed to create a baby Drunkard!
š¹ The Hunter (Anti-Drunkard)
A grumpy villager who despises alcoholics. Has a 50% chance to spawn alongside a new Drunkard. He builds his own Hunter Station block.
- Nighttime Assassin: At night, he actively hunts down Tolik and Drunkard villagers! He is the only entity in the game capable of bypassing Tolik's invulnerability.
- Trades: Will gladly trade you Poisoned Vodka for Emeralds.
ā ļø Poisoned Vodka
- The Banisher: Bought exclusively from the Hunter. If you throw this item on the ground near Tolik, he will drink it, explode, and be banished from your world forever, broadcasting a server-wide death message blaming you!
šļø Custom World Generation
- The Drunkard's Hut: A brand-new structure seamlessly integrated into vanilla Village generation (Plains, Taiga, and Snowy villages).
- Loot: Features a custom loot chest containing Distillery parts, wire, junk, and rare catalysts.
- Finding It: You can also find this hut alone in the Plains biome using the
/locate structure tolik:drunkard_hutcommand!
šµ Extras
-
New Music Disc: "gutnikov1 - Chekushka". Play it in a jukebox, and Tolik will automatically run towards it and vibe to the music!
This mod is 50% compatable with multiplayer, try to play with your friend!
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
