โ๏ธ Toolsmith Sharper
Toolsmith Sharper is a Vanilla+ Fabric mod that allows you to enhance your arsenal by sharpening your tools and weapons! Use whetstones and elemental oils to gain temporary buffs, improved damage, increased mining speed, and unique combat effects.
๐ก๏ธ Sharpening Mechanics
Give your gear the edge it needs! You can sharpen your items in two ways:
- Using a Whetstone: A portable item you can use anywhere to hone your tools and weapons.
- Using a Grindstone: Sneak and interact with a Grindstone while holding Flint (or an Oil) in your offhand.
What does sharpening do?
- Weapons & Axes: Gain a temporary Attack Damage multiplier.
- Tools & Axes: Gain a temporary Mining Speed boost.
- Maintenance: Sharpening an item slightly repairs its durability!
- Note: Perfecting your gear requires focus and costs a small amount of XP.
๐งช Elemental Oils
Take your combat to the next level by coating your weapons with volatile oils. Each oil has unique effects and interacts dynamically with the environment!
- ๐ฅ Fire Oil: Sets your target on fire. Be careful, the oil will wash off faster if you are in rain or water!
- โ ๏ธ Poison Oil: Inflicts poison on enemies. Highly volatile, it might wash off in Swamps, Jungles, or during the rain.
- ๐ง Vampire Oil: Leeches life from your enemies, healing you on hit. The dark magic within is more resilient during the night.
- โ๏ธ Frost Oil: Chills your enemies to the bone, inflicting Slowness. Melts away faster in hot biomes, lava, or if you are on fire.
- ๐ Luck Oil: Temporarily enchants your weapon with Looting, or your tools with Fortune! More effective during the night.
โ๏ธ Configuration & Compatibility
The mod is highly customizable to fit your modpack's balance needs.
- Fully Configurable: Adjust the maximum uses, damage multipliers, speed boosts, XP costs, and repair percentages.
- ModMenu Support: You don't need to dig into files! If you install ModMenu, you can tweak all these settings directly from the in-game options.
- In-game Commands: Server admins can also adjust settings on the fly using
/toolsmithsharper.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
