a mod made to make the minecart system and horses more useful by adding some stuff to them
minecraft has several transportation systems, and problems that come with them. the minecart system is essentially broken, and there's no reason to use them for what they cost. horses are nice - but you need to get lucky with it's speed to actually get a useable transportation method.
this mod's goal is to upgrade them to be a little more on par with other transportation methods
minecart system upgrade:

-vanilla rail recipe now gives 24 instead of 16, and powered rails recipe gives 12 instead of 6
-Booster block: craftable with copper and redstone block, grants the minecart faster movement. has 3 tiers; upgradable with gold blocks/right click
-Waxed rails: crafted with any rail type and honeycomb; reduces the minecart's loss of momentum compared to regular rails.
-Timer rail: when a minecart passes over a timer rail, a set timer will start and the rail emits a redstone signal when it finishes. you can set the timer via right click.
horse armor uodates:

-horse armor durability has been added (EXCEPT for copper and leather horse armor)
-protection, unbreaking and thorns have been added
-Swift Hooves: essentially just makes the horse faster
-Vigorous leap: makes the horse jump higher > incompatible with Swift Hooves
-Pathfinder: makes the horse not take damage from blocks like sweet berries and cactus
*all enchants are available on the enchanting table
new horse mechanics:

-warhorse mechanic: mobs will take damage when riding into them, multiplied by speed and thorns level
-sentinel mechanic: when a hostile mob comes within 16 blocks of a tamed horse, the horse will huff angrily
-whistle mechanic: goat horns can be tied to horses via shift+right click, and right clicking on a horn tied to a horse will teleport that horse to you from a set distance.
-regular horn: max 32 blocks
-copper coated horn: max 64 blocks
-iron coated horn: max 96 blocks
-emerald coated horn: max 128 blocks
-diamond coated horn: max 160 blocks
*crafting a goat horn tier requires the last tier + 4 of the tier's ore
