Trials Towers is a mod which adds the content from the Tricky Trials update to Neo/Forge 1.20.1 but as battle towers instead, and overall with my own take on things. While not every feature has been backported, such as I didn't do the Breeze or Copper Blocks, most things needed to make the Battle Towers were completed and the major rewards of the structure are all done to a degree within my own image, not perfect one for one to the real deal of the update itself mind you.

There are currently 10 different towers, each with it's own set of challenges and floors that ranges from parkour to combat related challenges. You can find Trial Spawners, Trial Vaults, and unique loot chests which all contains great loot and the new items. Despite not having a Breeze, Breeze Rods are pretty common item within all three possible loot containers and you can still earn Trial Keys by defeating Trial Spawners, or finding them with a low chance within the chests. The keys are used to unlock the Trial Vaults while the Breeze Rods can be used to craft into Wind Charges, which will spawn an item projectile to knock any entity upwards it manage to hit, including the player. This projectile will also knock the player much higher if they are crouching. The top floor of a tower will also have an Evoker or Illusioner that spawns with the structure as the tower's wizard.

Trial Spawners have a cooldown of 30 minutes after beating one and uses a random difficulty number to set how difficulty the mobs can become when spawning them. This number changes after every use. If a Trial Spawner doesn't detect a player anymore, it will automatically go on cooldown for 10 minutes instead and give no rewards. If the player has Bad Omen, it will be upgraded to a Trial version of the Bad Omen effect and all Trial Spawners activated by this player will be upgraded to the Omen Difficulty, where mobs can have the most dangerous equipment and variation of themselves, as well as increasing the mob count to 3 per spawn cycle and total count increases too. The number of nearby players detected by a Trial Spawner will also increase the total number count, making it take longer to clear a tower with more players around. Lastly, Trial Spawners when completed normally will drop a single random item from a loot table. However, completely a Trial Spawner that is enhanced by the Trial Omen effect will always give a Trial Key.

Trial Vaults are an unique reward block which can be unlocked by a Trial Key and gives up to 6 rewards from it's own loot table with a minimum of 3 rewards. However, unlike the official version, Trial Vaults will go on cooldown for 10 minutes for EVERY PLAYER instead of giving a reward ONCE per player. So, they can be farmed within the same Trial Tower if you preferred to farm them that way.Trial Vaults will roll the items from their own unique loot table that is similar to the official loot table, just less unstackable items. This loot table will have a chance to roll for an item from two other loot tables however, one is a cosmetic focus loot table that has the new armor trims, banner patterns, music discs, and pottery sherds while the other can roll either a random piece of enchanted diamond armor, a trident, or a heavy core.

The heavy core block, as expected, can be used with a breeze rod to create the new mace weapon, which deals damage base on fall distance and gives immunity to fall damage if you land the hit. This mace weapon has all three enchantments which can be obtained via loot or enchanting on the table, all working perfectly as intended essentially. All related tuff blocks are also in the mod alongside with the ominous bottle which gives Bad Omen upon use, and can increase Bad Omen's level if used in multiple doses.
