⨠What's New & Improved New 2D Avatar Style: Introduced a brand new 2D face view for your companion's HUD. This offers a perfect balance between 2.5D depth and clean 2D performance.
Interactive HUD Editor Button: You can now seamlessly toggle between the three Avatar Styles (2.5D Face, 2D Flat Icon) directly inside the HUD Customization screen using a new cycle button. No more typing commands!
Command Refactoring: Expanded the /companion_hud avatar client command to fully support the new 3-state avatar system (2.5d, 2d).
š Bug Fixes Death Message Inheritance Bug: Fixed a critical logic issue where a resurrected companion would incorrectly inherit the death reason and penalty flags from their previous life (e.g., being killed by a Wither in the current life, but the chat incorrectly broadcasting that they were killed by the player).
Ghost Sticking Fix: The Jojo-style Ghost Stand now strictly enforces a 0-pixel hitbox, making it 100% intangible and preventing accidental left-click hit sounds.
Render Tag Clear: Ensured temporary render tags (like the angry face) are properly wiped when a companion respawns, preventing visual glitches.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
