🚀 UnderRated CoreX (URCX)
The Ultimate Backend Moderator & Server Performance Suite UnderRatedCoreX is not just another "ClearLag" clone. It is a sophisticated, backend server management suite designed to act like a 24/7 moderator. It proactively monitors server health, prevents crashes, mitigates lag machines, and optimizes resources—all while maintaining a "Safe Mode" philosophy to ensure your server never stays down.
🛠 Key Features
🛡️ Advanced Crash Handler & Safe Mode URCX is built with stability in mind. Every major feature (Redstone Monitor, Mob Stacker, etc.) is protected by our Safe Mode logic. If a specific feature encounters an error or causes a hang, URCX will:
- Automatically disable only that feature.
- Generate a detailed Crash Dump in /plugins/UnderRatedCoreX/dumps/.
- Alert all admins so the issue can be resolved without crashing the entire server.
⚡ Lag Mitigation & Optimization
- Redstone Monitor: Actively tracks high-frequency redstone pulses. If a "Lag Machine" is detected, URCX automatically breaks the circuit (removes a redstone wire) and alerts admins of the exact coordinates.
- TPS Guardian: Constantly watches your server's ticks-per-second. If TPS drops significantly, it triggers an emergency sweep of entities and dropped items in problematic chunks.
- Mob Stacker: Reduces entity overhead by merging identical mobs into single entities with a "stack count," significantly reducing AI processing lag.
- Chunk Unloader: Periodically identifies and unloads idle chunks that are wasting RAM but have no players or essential entities in them.
🧹 Automated Cleanups
- Scheduled Item Cleanup: A smart ground-item remover that provides a 60-second, 30-second, and 10-second countdown to the entire server before clearing laggy items.
- Memory Monitor: Watches your Java Heap usage and logs warnings if the server is approaching its memory limit.
⌨️ Commands & Usage
The main command for the plugin is /urcx (with the alias /ur). All commands feature a smart Tab Completion system for ease of use.
Command Description:
- /urcx reload: Reloads the config.yml and restarts internal schedulers.
- /urcx config.yml: Live Viewer: Displays the current contents of the config.yml file directly in chat.
- /urcx instantchunkunload: Immediately forces an idle chunk unload sweep to free up RAM.
- /urcx instantlagunload: Emergency Button: Instantly clears redstone loops, item densities, and idle chunks.
- /urcx admin <add/remove> <user>: Manually manages the URCX admin list (fallback for LuckPerms).
- /urcx clearlag time set <mins>: Changes the interval for the automatic item cleanup timer.
- /urcx clearlag time info: Shows status and time remaining for the next item cleanup.
- /urcx chunkunload time set <mins>: Changes the interval for the automatic chunk unloading timer.
- /urcx chunkunload time info: Shows status of the chunk unloader (Visible only to Admins).
🔑 Permissions & Security
URCX integrates deeply with LuckPerms but includes a built-in fallback system.
- LuckPerms Integration: The node
underratedcorex.alerts
allows users to use commands and receive lag/safe-mode alerts.
- Manual Admins: If you don't want to use permissions, you can use /urcx admin add <name> to grant a user full access.
- Operator Fallback: Server OPs are granted access to everything by default. Requirement: LuckPerms must be installed for the plugin to initialize its advanced permission checks.
📂 Directories & Logs:
- /logs/: URCX maintains a DailyLogger. Every optimization, redstone break, and cleanup is logged here with timestamps, keeping your console clean.
- /dumps/: If a feature fails, the stack trace and server state are saved here for debugging.
⚙️ How to Operate
Install: Drop the jar into your plugins folder. Ensure LuckPerms is installed.
Configure: Open config.yml to set your desired memory thresholds and initial cleanup intervals.
Monitor: Use /urcx clearlag time info to see how the timers are running.
Administer: Add your trusted staff to the alerts using /urcx admin add <name> or via LuckPerms.
