Initial release.
Features
- A fake "X joined the game" message occasionally appears in chat, using vanilla's exact formatting
- The name stays "joined" for 10-40 minutes before a matching fake leave message appears — long enough to notice, not a quick blip
- Names are generated using one of three approaches: a subtly distorted version of your own name, a generic system-looking placeholder, or an ordinary name with one small distortion
- Purely client-side — no real connection or player ever involved
Config
- Enable/disable
- How often it can trigger, and the delay range before the fake leave message
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
