Universal Voice Connector (UVC) is an ultra-lightweight, 100% server-side plugin that bridges the gap between Simple Voice Chat and Plasmo Voice.

With UVC installed on your server, players using Simple Voice Chat and players using Plasmo Voice can talk, listen, and whisper to each other seamlessly in the same world — without requiring any extra client-side bridge mod!

• 🔊 Dynamic Speaking Distance (/vdist): Allows Simple Voice Chat players to adjust their speaking distance just like Plasmo Voice! Supports presets (whisper, normal, loud) and values from 4 to 48 blocks.
• ✨ Client-Side Particle Visualizer: Shows a gentle pulsing ring of particles around the player indicating their current voice reach (only visible to the command user).
• 💾 Persistent User Settings: Custom voice distances are automatically saved to userdata.yml and persist across relogs and server restarts.

Player Commands

/vdist <4-48>	uvc.distance (default: all)	Set speaking radius in blocks (e.g. /vdist 20)
/vdist <whisper|normal|loud>	uvc.distance (default: all)	Set speaking distance by preset (8m, 32m, 48m)

Note: Players must have an active voice chat connection to use /vdist.

📥 Installation

1. Make sure your server is running Paper, Purpur, Spigot, or Folia (1.20.4 – 1.21.11) with Java 21+.
2. Install Simple Voice Chat and/or Plasmo Voice server plugins.
3. Download UniversalVoiceConnector-0.1.0-BETA.jar and place it into your server's plugins/ directory.
4. Restart your server. That's it! Players can join with either client mod and communicate right away.
