VeiniteTech — Changelog
All notable changes for the 1.1.x series, newest first.
1.1.5 — R6 Breaching & Reinforcement rework
Added
- Reinforcement % HP — reinforced blocks now have a continuous 0–100% durability instead of "5 hits". The remaining % shows above the block you look at (green → yellow → red), and cracks deepen smoothly with damage.
- Explosions can't pass through reinforcements — a reinforced block now shields whatever is behind it. Both vanilla explosions (TNT/creeper) and Mining Charge / Detonator blasts are stopped by reinforced blocks; you must breach the wall itself.
- Breaching Torch (Maverick-style) — hold right-click on a reinforced block to cut through it (drains its %). RF-powered (200k buffer, shown as a durability bar); sneak + right-click a Power Cell to recharge (with an on-screen readout). Craft: blaze rod + advanced circuits + iron + capacitor.
- Flashbang — throw it to flash + disorient. Players in line of sight get a full-screen white-out (scaled by distance and whether they're looking at it) that fades out, plus nausea + slowness; mobs get blindness + nausea + slowness. Craft: gunpowder + glowstone dust + iron → 2.
Changed / Removed
- Removed the Reinforcement Press. A Reinforcement now crafts directly from 4 iron blocks (2×2 in any grid) — no machine, no power.
- Damage rebalanced to the new % scale: each explosion/charge ≈ 20%; a Detonator 5-stack one-shots a fresh reinforced block.
1.1.4 — Combat, potions & VFX
Added
- Goblin Curse (lingering potion) — throw it to leave a cursing cloud (1 heart/sec). Any cursed entity that dies becomes a sword-wielding Goblin loyal to the thrower (fights everything else, drops 1 iron). Spawn egg included. Craft: glass bottle + emerald + spider eye.
- Rage (lingering potion) — 3-heart impact blast + a cloud granting ×3 strength, ×2 speed. Craft: glass bottle + blaze powder + sugar.
- Pancake (food) — grants Well Fed (5-minute regeneration). Craft: wheat + milk + sugar → 4.
- Custom pixel-art explosion VFX — Mining Charge blasts now play a chunky pixel fireball (8 bundled presets), scaling with stacked charges. (Assets are CC0/public-domain — ansimuz, and Sinestesia via OpenGameArt; credited in
assets/veinitetech/VFX_CREDITS.txt.)
1.1.3 — Logistics & machines
Added
- Wireless Item Transfer Node (research-gated) — place against an inventory; configure a channel + optional password. SEND nodes push to RECEIVE nodes on the same channel (your own private network by default, password-shared streams optional). Owner-locked, emissive.
- Recycler (powered machine) — un-crafts an item back into its ingredients into a 3×3 output grid; drains RF; glowing emissive front + themed UI; anti-dupe guards.
- Veinite Rifle + Rifle Round (research-gated) — projectile rifle that fires a fast bullet; ammo crafts from gunpowder + iron.
- Boiler retexture — controllers reworked to a gauge-dial top, woven basket-weave body, and a hazard panel (stripes + glowing red button), per tier.
1.1.2 — Demolitions
Added
- Mining Charge (thrown grenade) — detonates a 3×3×3 organic blast on impact (breaks obsidian, respects reinforced blocks, damages nearby entities). Craft: gunpowder + iron + flint.
- Detonator — right-click to arm charges on surfaces (uses a Mining Charge each), with an in-world marker + stacked-count overlay; sneak + right-click to detonate them all. Stacking charges = a bigger blast (radius, reinforcement damage and fireball all scale with the count).
- Molotov — throw to scatter an organic 5×5 fire that burns ~30 seconds, damages entities, doesn't spread, and is extinguished by water. Craft: glass bottle + blaze powder + string → 2.
Changed
- Blast shapes are now organic (guaranteed 3×3×3 core + rough sphere + jagged random fringe) instead of perfect cubes.
1.1.1 — Block Reinforcement
Added
- Reinforcement — apply it to any block (vanilla or modded). Reinforced blocks survive ~5 explosions, are ~20× slower to mine, show their damage via the crack overlay, emit a subtle shimmer, and lose their right-click UI (sealed). Works without replacing the block (per-position data + events).
1.1.0 — Energy & Storage
Added
- Tiered RF Power Cells (Steel / Reactor Steel / Superconductor) — auto-I/O RF storage that stacks into a shared bank when placed touching; keeps its charge when broken; emissive glow + themed GUI.
- Quantum Tank — a handheld 90-slot portable backpack; contents travel in the item's NBT; can't be nested; safeguards against losing the open tank.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
