Changes
Version 1.1.0 (December 17, 2024)
NEW FEATURES:
Door Safe Zone Visualization:
- Shows 31x7x31 box around each villager
- Doors placed within this zone are guaranteed to be detected
- Based on actual 1.12.2 testing: 15 blocks horizontal, 3 up/3 down
- Magenta/purple wireframe for visibility
- Helps plan village expansion!
Hidden Villager Highlighting:
- New visualization option to highlight villagers outside the counting box
- Orange wireframe outline appears around "AWOL" villagers
- Makes it easy to spot and relocate villagers not being counted
- Configurable highlight color in config
Collapsible Sections:
- All major info sections can be collapsed/expanded individually
- Sections: Location, Villagers, Doors/Golems, Breeding, Golem Spawn, Visualizations
- Click any section header to toggle
- Section states persist when UI is closed/opened
- Reduces screen clutter - show only what you need
Checkbox-Style Visualization Toggles:
- Replaced large buttons with compact checkbox list
- [X] Counting Box / [ ] Counting Box style
- Takes much less screen space
- Easier to see what's enabled at a glance
In-Game Configuration GUI:
- Added Config button support in Mods menu
- All settings now editable in-game without manual file editing
- Categories: Panel Position, Visuals, Keybinds, Features, Colors
- Changes apply immediately without restart
Draggable Panel:
- Click and drag the header to reposition panel anywhere on screen
- Position saves automatically when released
- Visual feedback: header turns yellow while dragging
- 5-pixel threshold distinguishes clicks from drags
- Click still toggles expand/collapse, drag moves panel
Smart Toggle Key Behavior:
- "/" key now behaves based on UI state:
- UI hidden → Show UI and release mouse
- UI visible + collapsed → Hide UI
- UI visible + expanded + mouse captured → Release mouse only (UI stays open)
- UI visible + expanded + mouse free → Hide UI
- Prevents needing to toggle twice when actively using expanded UI
- Much smoother workflow when switching between UI and gameplay
Panel Position Settings:
- Configurable X/Y screen position
- Editable via config GUI or drag-to-move
- Persists across sessions
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Changed all box visualizations to wireframe outlines (cleaner view)
- Configurable wireframe line width (default 3.0, range 1.0-10.0)
- Village Radius remains as flat ground squares (looks good as-is)
- No more colored tint when standing inside visualization zones
- Clearer boundary edges for precise building
- Removed text shadows for cleaner, more readable text
- Cleaner, more compact UI layout
- Better organized information hierarchy
- Footer text simplified
- "Outside counting box" now correctly counts AWOL villagers too
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
