Village Quest 2.4.1 for Minecraft 26.2
The Guild Comes to Town now guides you through the first steps of village life directly at the Guild Notice Post. Your existing 2.4.0 world and progression remain compatible.
New features
- The Guild Notice Post opens a village journey page for your first favor, introductions, and local stories. Accept work, follow progress, make Shared Table decisions, and deliver the final bundle from the board. Connected villages also offer their request page as a second tab.
- Admins can preview the different board stages with
/vq admin uitest noticejourneywithout changing quest or world progress.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Quest Tracker and Journal hints now describe the configurable tracker position correctly. The default is top-left.
- Opening a Guild Notice Post no longer leaves an unnecessary hand-swing animation when you close its interface.
- The complete 2.4.0 Guild Comes to Town content remains available, including Village Contacts, five local stories, Cross-Village Commissions, shared Guild Projects, and The Bells of Concord.
Requires Minecraft 26.2, Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or later, Fabric API 0.153.0+26.2 or later, and Java 25.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
