Village Quest 2.6 — Living Kingdoms
Your villages have a new story to tell. Our biggest update yet brings memorable people, thriving markets and new adventures to the roads you already know—with beautiful medieval menus to guide the journey.
New features
- Build a community. Name your settlement, furnish a council, inn, market and storehouse, and earn five stages of village recognition.
- Meet your neighbours. Talk to village staff and rare inn guests. Follow Simon's travels, chart Lutte's coastal signals and stand watch with Marius for unique rewards.
- Open the market. Welcome up to five visiting traders, discover regional goods and connect villages through real routes, supply promises and friendship meetings.
- Leave your mark. Earn the Village Seal, face meaningful diplomatic choices and follow The Unwritten Promise with your hard-earned guild tools.
- Choose your rhythm. Adjust world options in the Journal, including optional Minecraft-day quest resets, and enjoy clearer maps, objectives and quieter world news.
Bug fixes and improvements
Refreshed interfaces, clearer English/German/Spanish text, safer trading and rewards, and more reliable village, guest and quest progress. Existing progression carries forward.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
