Village Quest 2.4.1 for Minecraft 26.3
The Guild Comes to Town arrives on Minecraft 26.3 with the same Village Quest 2.4.1 content as the Minecraft 26.2 release. The port retains Village Quest's existing save IDs and progression format.
New features
- Play the complete Guild Comes to Town adventure on Minecraft 26.3: Village Contacts, Guild Corners, five local stories, ten Cross-Village Commissions, shared Guild Projects, the Chronicle, and The Bells of Concord.
- Guild Notice Posts guide your first favor, village introductions, local story progress, Shared Table choices, and final deliveries through a dedicated interface. Connected villages keep their request page in a second tab.
- Admins can preview the board journey with
/vq admin uitest noticejourneywithout changing quest or world progress.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Updated client input, rendering, structures, recipes, blocks, and other integration points for Minecraft 26.3 and current Fabric APIs while retaining Village Quest gameplay and save data.
- Quest Tracker and Journal hints now describe the configurable tracker position correctly. The default is top-left.
- Opening a Guild Notice Post no longer leaves an unnecessary hand-swing animation when you close its interface.
Requires Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or later, Fabric API 0.161.0+26.3 or later, and Java 25.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
