Philosophy of modding?
The vilmiComfort build is designed for those who want to transform Minecraft - make it bigger, more beautiful, and deeper. Here the world becomes alive and boundless, and the gameplay becomes an immersion in art. While I originally created this build for myself, I’d be happy to hear your constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement!
- BSL Shaders - Realistic lighting, dynamic shadows and effects that create a sense of depth and scale, provides a more photorealistic "fog" for landscapes.
- Complementary Shaders - Unbound is an alternative for those who prefer softer and more balanced effects (but with less emphasis on scale).
- Shaders may conflict voxy (for example, Bliss shaders may have artifacts when voxy lods are loaded).
Efficiency
- Approximately 60 FPS on the configuration: i9-11900KF, RTX 3060 12GB, 48GB RAM (when loading 12(+2048 voxy) chunks, approximately 7gb ram is consumed).
- C2ME (recommended version: c2me-fabric-mc1.21.11-0.3.7+alpha.0.39 from [official Discord] - for GPU optimization (requires Java 25).
- It is recommended to set the upload to around 12 chunks and enable voxy with the maximum configuration
Important notes
- The build is in beta stage - bugs, unoptimized moments and conflicts of mods are possible.
- Before installation: check the compatibility of shaders and mods, especially if you use Voxy + shaders (for example, Bliss).
- For maximum performance: Close the background applications and allocate enough RAM in the startup settings.
- For now, this is the client-side version. I'm working on a server-side version, but you can still use this build to play on vanilla servers.
Who is this build for?
- For builders and creatives who want large-scale projects without restrictions on visibility.
- For lovers of beautiful graphics who are willing to sacrifice some of their productivity for visual immersion.
- For experimenters who are ready to test beta versions and help improve the build.
