New Features
- Modular Goggles: Added a new type of goggles that allows dynamic installation of up to 2 different vision modules.
- Hydro Goggles: Fully implemented goggles for underwater vision with custom textures and dedicated crafting recipe.
- Biometric Scanner Goggles: Fully implemented goggles for entity health and distance scanning with custom textures and dedicated crafting recipe.
- Modification Station: New functional block with a custom user interface (GUI) to install modules onto goggles.
- New Item - Electrical Parts: Added as the fundamental component for crafting modules and advanced electronics.
- Battery Expansion Module: Increases the total energy capacity of modular goggles by 50% (x1.5).
- Vision Modules: Added NVG, Thermal, Hydro, and Biometric modules as individual items for the modification system.
- Complex Crafting: All recipes have been redesigned to be more challenging.
Visual Improvements and Rendering
- Thermal Vision Optimization:
- Detection color changed to Cyan to prevent visual conflicts with sand and warm-colored blocks.
- Adjusted scale (1.10x) and vertical centering to ensure the silhouette perfectly covers mobs and their armor.
- Item Models: Added base models for the new components, modular goggles, and the modification station.
- Custom GUI: Cleaned up the station interface by hiding automatic titles to highlight the custom texture.
Fixes and Adjustments
- Dynamic Battery: Fixed an issue where recharging did not recognize the increased capacity from the battery expansion module.
- HUD Correction: The on-screen battery percentage now correctly displays 100% when goggles are full, even with expansion modules installed.
- Slot Compatibility: Removed the ability to equip goggles in the "head" slot of Curios and Accessories, properly restricting them to eyes and face slots.
- Code Optimization: Removed a duplicated shader file structure that caused redundancy.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
