Changelog for Version 1.3.17:
[High-End Performance & Input Fixes]
- Fixed Win+L / Alt-Tab stuttering: Optimized input loop by polling glfwGetKey every 2nd tick instead of 348x every single tick. Mouse checks remain instant, ensuring no input is lost while stopping background tick spikes.
- Fixed 20-Second Mode Freeze: Corrected a logical order bug where motionStartMs failed to reset after the 20s timeout, causing the HUD to get stuck at the cycle's edge.
[Visual Glidings & Animations]
- Upgraded HUD Interpolation: Replaced system millisecond calculations with a render-interpolated offset using DeltaTracker and exponential Lerp (exp(-18 * dt)) for flawless framerate smoothness.
- Implemented Smootherstep (Ken Perlin's 5th-order equation) to nullify the second derivative at endpoints, eliminating any visible friction or jerking when the HUD starts and stops.
- Fixed Mod Menu Icon: Resolved a compile and build cache issue. The golden camera icon now loads properly under assets/vivid/icon.png.
[GUI & UX Alignment]
- Redesigned Settings Screen: All controls are now perfectly centered (screenWidth / 2 - 150) across all window sizes and GUI scales, keeping category labels in a clean layout.
- Updated Mod Description: Standardized international project appearance inside Mod Menu ("Vivid - An automatic camera for AFK moments, starting smooth cinematic fly-arounds.").
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
