Voice Command Mod 2.2.0 Release
New Features
Server Config Sync
- The Mob Browser now works correctly on real dedicated servers, not just singleplayer. Opening it while connected to a server pulls that server's actual config instead of your own local copy.
- Only server operators can save changes. Anyone can view the config, but non-ops get a message if they try to save.
Cursed Lottery Overhaul
- Say "let's go gambling" to instantly trigger the lottery (phrase is configurable, and can be turned off).
- Rare diamond jackpot outcome (3 diamonds), chance configurable, drops on the ground instead of vanishing if your inventory is full.
- Rare creeper swarm outcome (15 creepers by default), count and chance both configurable
- New independent chance to also get hit with a random negative potion effect (Slowness, Poison, Blindness, Nausea, Hunger, Weakness, Mining Fatigue, Levitation, Unluck, or Darkness) for a random duration, min and max both configurable.
- Normal mob burst size (previously fixed at 3 to 5) is now configurable with min and max sliders.
- Every one of the above is toggleable and tunable from two new in game screens. Cursed Lottery Settings and Lottery Events.
On Top Toggle
- Added a "Top" column to the Mob Browser so you can set whether a mob spawns on you vs a short distance in front of you, right from the GUI. Previously this could only be set by editing the config file.
Unsaved Changes Prompt
- Closing the Mob Browser with pending edits now asks "There are unsaved changes. Do you want to save them?" with Save and Discard options, instead of silently discarding your work.
Settings Screen
- Settings moved out of the old cramped popup into its own full screen, matching the rest of the mod's UI. No more overlapping text bleeding through the mob list.
Fixed
- Killed by your own mouth message no longer shows twice (once as vanilla's default death message, once as the mods); now shows a single combined message with your name and the mob.
- Fixed text overlapping at high GUI scaled in the Mob Browser
- Fixed search bar losing focus after every single character typed, requiring you to keep reclicking it.
- Fixed on top mobs appearing to not spawn correctly in the Nether, End, and Wonderland dimensions
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
