Changes
Voltaic 1.20.1 1.0.10
- Reworked radiation shielding to use percentage-based blocking instead of flat radiation subtraction.
- Added default radiation shielding for regular solid blocks based on hardness.
- Radiation is now sampled across the entity body instead of only using height slices, making shielding more reliable for players and mobs.
- Open doors and trapdoors now provide reduced radiation protection compared to closed ones.
- Very small radiation amounts are now ignored to prevent tiny leftover radiation from applying effects.
- Shielding tooltips now show “Radiation Blocked” as a percentage.
- Water now reduces radiation by 30%.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
