Changes
Voltaic 1.21.1-1.1.0
New features
- Forge Energy compatibility — Voltaic can now work alongside other energy mods like Forge Energy. It's turned off by default, so your setup won't change unless you enable it.
Fixes
- Wrenches now actually rotate blocks — Using a wrench on a block to rotate it worked before, but the rotation didn't happen. It's fixed now.
Big clean-ups (under the hood)
- Fluid and gas components merged — The code that handles fluids and gases has been combined and tidied up. Nothing changes how you use them in-game.
- Recipe "probables" cleaned up — The code behind chance-based recipes (like "maybe this drops") has been reorganized and made cleaner.
- Removed outdated code — Old, deprecated code has been stripped out across the mod.
Updates
- Updated JEI and Neoforge — The mod now uses newer versions of the JEI (Just Enough Items) and Neoforge libraries. This fixes an issue where the newest JEI wasn't showing fluids, and keeps things compatible with the latest setup.
Networking improvements
- Safer GUI gauge clicking — The packets (the messages that let you click gauges through the GUI) have been restructured to be safer and more reliable.
Note: A large earlier commit ("Preliminary move to null-analysis-based system") introduced Voltaic's null-analysis system and bumped the version to 1.1.0. It's the foundation for the changes above and doesn't need separate explanation for daily use.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
