Voltex 2.1.0
Important: this update removes the nuclear reactor and the whole uranium line. Back up your world before updating. Uranium ore that has already generated turns into stone and deepslate. The reactor, the reactor chamber and all uranium, plutonium and MOX items are removed.
Added
- Crystallizer: turns fluids into items, with an optional seed slot. Supports speed, parallel and item/fluid transfer upgrades.
- Cryo Chamber: a 5x5x5 multiblock powered by heat instead of energy. The more heat flows in, the deeper the cold it reaches, unlocking three recipe stages. Can be assembled with the Structure Wand.
- Depth Modules (tier 2 and 3) that unlock the deeper stages of the Cryo Chamber.
- Cryo rods in three tiers, cryolite, cryo crystal and superfluid condensate.
- Cryogenic Heat Exchanger for the Thermostation, crafted with spent coolant from the Cryo Chamber.
- Heat Probe: right click a heat pipe to see the whole network, how much heat it delivers and what is holding it back.
- Crafting recipes for electrum, invar, nickel and silver blocks, and back into ingots.
- Certus quartz (with AE2): 16 certus crystals compress into flawless budding quartz, and the Cultivator also grows crystals from flawed, chipped and damaged budding quartz.
Changed
- Heat pipes now work as one network: heat reaches consumers at full throughput instead of bouncing between pipes.
- Machine tanks grow with parallel modules: x4 at 8, x8 at 32, x16 at 64. Removing the module shrinks the tank and the excess fluid is lost.
- New textures for kronite and kronium alloy, the alloy is now animated.
- Guide: the nuclear chapter is replaced with a cryo chapter, and multiblock previews now show connected panels.
Fixed
- Fluid Enricher: automation could insert items into the output and reagent slots and stall the machine. (#1)
- Cultivator: the certus quartz recipe required an item that cannot be obtained in survival. (#2)
Removed
- Nuclear reactor, reactor chamber, uranium ore, and all uranium, plutonium and MOX items, fuel rods and reactor schemes.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
