Voltex 2.0.2
Added
- Jade support. Point at a machine and the tooltip shows stored energy, heat, tank contents and crafting progress without opening the GUI. Jade is optional, and nothing changes if you don't have it installed.
- Crates got their own interface. All three tiers have custom artwork.
Fixed
- Machines, cables, solar panels, the reactor and the energy bank now drop when you break them with a pickaxe. Previously they were removable only with the Electric Wrench and simply vanished if you mined them by hand. The wrench still works exactly as before.
- The Machine Casing could be lost permanently. It has no block entity, so the wrench skipped it, and it had no loot table either.
- JEI showed the wrong processing time for the Crusher, Compressor, Extractor and Metal Former. Those machines ran 30% faster than the recipe claimed. Recipe times were rewritten to match, so JEI now shows what actually happens. In-game speed is unchanged.
Changed
- Machines no longer have an input rate cap, so they refill instantly instead of slowly charging up after idling. Work speed is unchanged, it still comes from the recipe. The Energy Bank, Electromagnet, Matter Fabricator and Battery Charger keep their rates; those are part of how they work.
- The Miner progress bar now fills from the bottom up.
- Large bases should run better. Every energy push used to rescan the whole cable network from scratch, so the cost scaled with the number of generators multiplied by the network size. The network is now walked once per tick and shared, which matters most on big solar farms.
- The config was split into common and client files. Render and sound options moved to the client file, and some leftover template entries were removed. Three client-side options will reset to defaults on first launch.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
