26.2-0.5_Alpha_1
Compatibility
Changes
This is the first release of Voluminous Energy for Minecraft 26.2. It includes everything in 26.1.2-0.5 Alpha 1, including the Multitool rework and the new foliage recipes, and reworks the mod's Cinnabar and Sulfur around the Cinnabar and Sulfur that vanilla adds in 26.2's Sulfur Caves. As with the other 0.5 builds this is an alpha, so please report any issues you run into. A reminder: DO NOT BRING FORWARD OLD WORLDS.
Cinnabar and Sulfur Rework
Minecraft 26.2 adds Cinnabar and Sulfur stone blocks, the Sulfur Spike, and the Sulfur Cube. Rather than having two unrelated versions of Cinnabar and Sulfur, Voluminous Energy now uses the vanilla blocks as its own.
- The Raw Cinnabar Block has been removed. Vanilla Cinnabar takes its place as the storage block for Raw Cinnabar: 9 Raw Cinnabar craft into 1 Cinnabar, and 1 Cinnabar crafts back into 9 Raw Cinnabar
- Vanilla Sulfur is now the storage block for Raw Sulfur: 9 Raw Sulfur craft into 1 Sulfur, and 1 Sulfur crafts back into 9 Raw Sulfur
- Cinnabar now needs an iron pickaxe or better to drop, matching Cinnabar Ore. This includes Cinnabar found in Sulfur Caves. The polished, brick, and chiseled Cinnabar variants keep vanilla's rules
- Cinnabar deposits now have a vanilla Cinnabar core in place of the Raw Cinnabar Block
- The smallest Sulfur Cubes now drop 1 to 4 Raw Sulfur, increased by Looting
- New Crusher recipes: Cinnabar into 45 Cinnabar Dust (with a 25% chance of 18 Redstone), Sulfur into 9 Sulfur Dust, Potent Sulfur into 81 Sulfur Dust (41 in the main output and 40 in the RNG slot at a 100% chance), and a Sulfur Spike into 2 to 3 Sulfur Dust (2 in the main output and 1 in the RNG slot at a 25% chance)
- Cinnabar Ore, Deepslate Cinnabar Ore, Raw Cinnabar, and Cinnabar Dust have been recoloured to match vanilla Cinnabar
- Raw Sulfur and Sulfur Dust have been recoloured to match vanilla Sulfur
- Sulfuric Acid and its bucket are now a pale yellow matching the Sulfur Cube, instead of grey
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
