Changelog Gameplay Changes
Reworked encumbrance scaling to use a stage-based system:
The soft cap is divided into four stages.
Slowness now applies evenly across stages:
Stage 1 → Slowness I
Stage 2 → Slowness II
Stage 3 → Slowness III
Stage 4 → Slowness IV
Mining Fatigue now follows stage progression:
Stage 2–3 → Mining Fatigue I
Stage 4 → Mining Fatigue II
Pack Mule Enchantment
Pack Mule now correctly increases the soft cap, increasing how much weight can be carried per stage.
Slowness and Mining Fatigue now properly scale with the increased capacity from Pack Mule.
When Pack Mule is equipped, it becomes the authoritative system for encumbrance effects, preventing conflicts with the base logic.
UI Improvements
Carrying Capacity display in the inventory now:
Reflects Pack Mule scaling correctly.
Changes color based on encumbrance stage:
White = under first stage
Yellow = encumbered
Red = at soft cap
Display logic now matches the same thresholds used by gameplay effects.
Stability & Logic Fixes
Fixed Slowness IV being applied too early.
Fixed Mining Fatigue dropping off between stages.
Prevented conflicting effect application between base encumbrance and Pack Mule logic.
Ensured only one system applies encumbrance effects at a time.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
