Walking Generates the World Plugin

Nothing here exists until someone walks to it. Players begin on a lone pillar of blocks with open space in every direction, and solid land forms only where they set foot. The map grows behind them as they explore, and anywhere nobody has been stays empty.

The concept that inspired this plugin.
