Changes
Waypointer 1.9.0 is here, and it's a big one. Route browsing, route folders, and interface polish. Lots of attention to detail changes not mentioned here.
Highlights
- Community routes! Publish a route in-game and browse other people's routes in game. You pick a publisher name once, and each route can be public or unlisted (unlisted means only people with the link can find it).
- To prevent spam, you can publish up to 3 routes per day, and submissions are checked automatically.
- Route folders! Group routes into colored folders, drag routes in and out, and collapse the folders you're not using right now.
- Right-click menus! Right-click a route or a waypoint to get every action in one place: edit, show/hide, move to another zone, rename, disable, and more.
- Undo for deleted routes! After deleting routes you get ten seconds to hit Undo and get them back, folders and ordering included. (This should've been in from day 0, really. Have hesitated on adding extra buttons since it clutters UI. Feedback is welcome, even if harsh!)
- Disabling waypoints! Disable without deleting them via middle click
- Waypointer now tells you in chat when a new version is out!
Improved
- New "Previous waypoints" and "Next waypoints" settings control how much of a sequenced route is drawn around you (0-32 or All).
- New optional sound cue when your etherwarp target lines up with a waypoint. Enable it in Settings -> Appearance.
- Open the route browser from chat with
/wp routes. - Reorder routes! Drag them, use the new arrow buttons, whatever.
/wp exportnow exports your active route(s) instead of every route at once.- New Route and New Folder are now under a single New button.
- Press Space on a route in the list to show or hide it from the keyboard.
- Failed imports now tell you what actually went wrong.
- Made colors more consistent.
- Made some UI copy easier to read.
- Tons of alignment and ui cleanup.
- Waypointer now supports all 142 languages in Minecraft.
Fixed
- Several import/export edge cases causing issues.
Compatibility
- Supports Minecraft 26.1.2 and 26.2; both builds require Java 25.
plus fixes in 1.9.1
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
