WorldEdit Selection Overlay 1.8.0
New
- Live, textured command previews while typing:
//set,//replace,//walls,//faces///outline,//overlay,//center,//naturalize,//hollow,//line,//curveand//flora. - WorldEdit block states, legacy numeric IDs and percentage mixtures. Random mixtures display a stable sample; executing the command rolls placements again.
- Optional in-world cuboid Resize and Move tools, draggable corners/faces, one-block snapping and axis-based wheel movement.
- Tap G to start/apply; hold it briefly to choose a tool. Escape cancels. X / Y / Z chooses the movement axis. A camera-oriented 3D indicator shows the active axis; moving the selection never moves world blocks.
- Palette Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y, per-drag undo steps and dedicated editing colors, axis colors and line thickness.
- Live
//rotateand//flip///mirrorpreviews for the copied object when Clipboard Preview is enabled. Typing does not change the real clipboard. - Glass, Studio and Classic interface styles with compact settings and a full-screen inspector/palette. Configurable short hover/opening animations.
Improved
- Region-command drafts, clipboard rendering and interactive editing coordinate their visibility without losing the clipboard setting or cache.
- Replaced source models are visually suppressed correctly, including partial models. Closing the preview restores the original view.
- Incremental loaded-section calculation and reusable GPU buffers for command previews; no fixed block-count or distance cap inside loaded selection chunks.
- NeoForge CUI packaging avoids shared-protocol conflicts; clipboard models use the correct rendering stage and official WorldEdit adapters.
- The deselect key no longer adds a redundant confirmation message.
Downloads
Choose one JAR for your loader: Fabric or NeoForge. Both cover Minecraft 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2 and 26.2. Fabric needs Fabric API. Java 21 is required for 1.21.11; Java 25 for 26.x. NeoForge's local WorldEdit on the 26.1 branch needs 26.1.2 or newer.
Command/clipboard preview and interactive editing require integrated singleplayer WorldEdit. Server CUI remains supported for selection visualization and inspection. Editing and Clipboard Preview start disabled. Recommended GUI scale: 2x.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
