Release Title: v1.1.0 - Give Your AI a Personality!
Description:
This is a big one! I'm excited to release version 1.1.0, which fundamentally changes how you can interact with the AI in-game.
π What's New: Custom AI Personalities
The biggest change is the new "Model Instructions" field in the Gemini Config screen. Whatever you write in this box becomes the AI's core personality or set of rules.
- Want a helpful Minecraft expert? Try:
"You are a master Minecraft player. Your goal is to provide helpful tips, crafting recipes, and advice." - Want a roleplaying companion? Try:
"You are Grok, a grumpy dwarf who lives in a mine. You are suspicious of surface-dwellers and only care about precious minerals."
The possibilities are endless!
π οΈ Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed the Overwriting Config Bug: A huge thank you to those who noticed this! I've fixed the critical bug that caused the config file to only save the last thing you edited. Now, both your API Key and your new Model Instructions will save perfectly every time.
Thanks for using the mod, and I can't wait to see what kind of AI personalities you all come up with!
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
