WindUI 1.3.0 Beta 1 – Design Preview
Beta: this is an early look at the next WindUI design. Everything works, but layouts and details may still change before the full release. Feedback is very welcome!
✨ New design (preview)
- Clean font: menus now use a sharp, modern font (Inter) instead of the pixel font, tuned for every GUI scale and for fullscreen. You can switch back any time: Settings → Appearance → Font
- New Mod Browser: every mod sorted into categories (HUD, Navigation, Combat, Camera, World & visuals, Interface, System) with counters, an "Active" list and instant search. Just start typing to find a mod
- New mod pages: each mod has its own page with a header, on/off switch, settings grouped in cards and a live preview
- New WindUI settings: one place for General, Appearance, Glass, Overlays and Info & support
- Launcher backgrounds: animated GIFs and still photos are now supported as the title screen background
- Blur Minecraft background: a soft blur for the vanilla title panorama (on by default, can be turned off in Appearance)
🆕 New
- Clear View (Camera): hide the pumpkin overlay, lower the fire overlay and lower your shield, each with its own height setting
- Coordinates now show as a tidy list by default
- 26.4-snapshot-4 support
🛠️ Fixes
- Navigation: arrival time and distance now count to your destination, not just to the next part of the route
- Voice no longer shows as "unavailable" when the module is turned off
- Text in menus lines up with switches and buttons at every GUI scale, including fullscreen
- 26.4 snapshots: "Quit Game" and "Save and Quit to Title" show their text again instead of a settings icon, and the pause menu icons (Feedback, Other Players, Friends) are correct
- Clean font: no more dark rim around letters on bright backgrounds, for sharper and easier-to-read text
- Softer shadows under buttons and search fields
- Play buttons (Singleplayer, Back to Game): icon and label sit closer together and stay centred
- Clean font: no more thin lines flickering at the letter edges while hovering buttons
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
