Changes
First public release.
Features
- Pick and order resource packs per world from the Edit World screen
- Joining players are required to load them — works with completely unmodded clients
- Packs are copied into the world folder, so worlds stay self-contained and portable
- The host gets the same packs applied locally, with no download
- Fully reversible — delete
worldpacks.jsonand the world is back to stock
Notes
- Only the host or server needs this mod installed
- Packs are served over a local HTTP port: random per-session URLs,
GETonly, SHA-1 verified by the client, and shut down with the world - For internet play, set a fixed
portinworldpacks.jsonand forward it alongside your game port — the default0picks a random port each launch - Only
.zippacks can be served; the protocol sends URLs, so loose folders can't be sent
Known limitations
- Tested on LAN only — internet play with port forwarding is unverified
- No configuration screen on dedicated servers; write
worldpacks.jsonby hand - Requires Fabric Loader 0.19.0+ on Minecraft 26.2
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
