Release 1.1.0 – World Eater & Trencher Monitoring Overhaul
New Features
- Separate monitoring for world eaters (
/worldeater) and trenchers (/trencher) - World eater detection: tracks lit TNT count (adjustable
minTntCount) - Trencher detection: counts blocks actually destroyed by explosions (ignores TNT blocks)
- Configurable stop timeouts per machine type (default 60 s for world eaters, 180 s for trenchers)
- Discord ping control: global toggle and per‑event switches (start, stop, stuck, resumed, shutdown)
- Messages always sent; role mention appears only when pings are enabled
- Server shutdown detection: all active machines stop and send a shutdown notification
- Machines never auto‑start after server load; start/stop reject already‑applied states with clear error messages
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21 (branch
main) and Minecraft 1.20.1 (branch1.20.1) - Fabric Loader ≥0.14.21 (1.20.1) / ≥0.15.0 (1.21)
- Java 17 (1.20.1) / Java 21 (1.21)
- Fabric API
Upgrading from the initial release
- Replace the old JAR with the new one.
- The configuration file is now
config/worldeaternotifier.json. Your oldworldeaternotifier-config.jsonwill be ignored. - Use
/worldeater settings setWebhookUrl <url>or/trencher settings setWebhookUrl <url>to set your Discord webhook (they share the same URL). - Fine‑tune ping preferences with the
discordPingssubcommand, e.g./worldeater settings discordPings onStuck false.
Installation
Download the JAR from the assets below, place it in your server’s mods folder, and start the server. See the README for full usage details.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
