1.3.0
Compatibility
Changes
Release 1.3.0 – Discord Bot Mode, Interactive Ping Config, Slash Commands
New Features
- Discord bot mode: JDA-powered bot as an alternative to webhooks. Switch with
notificationMode: "bot"in config. Supports slash commands, interactive ping toggles, and a "Toggle Ping" button on start messages. - Dynamic ping role (Bot mode): The ping role can now be toggled dynamically, so you can stop being pinged even if other people are using the bot.
- Machine slash commands in Discord (Bot mode):
/worldeater start|stop|list,/trencher start|stop|list,/bedrockbreaker start|stop|list /config pingsin Discord (Bot mode): Select a machine type → see current ping settings in an embed → pick a setting to toggle → True/False buttons. After each toggle, the setting picker stays open so you can keep adjusting./config subscription-button(Bot mode): Show or hide the "Toggle Ping" button on start messages.- Configurable notification messages: Each machine type has its own
messagesblock in JSON with{type}/{name}placeholders — customize start, stuck, resumed, manual stop, and shutdown messages.
Fixes
- Coordinate suggestions in
/worldeater create,/trencher create,/bedrockbreaker createnow correctly suggest the player's X, Y, Z values instead of being one axis behind (each argument has its own axis-specific suggestion provider). - Persistent ping settings when you set it on discord: Per-event ping toggles (
enabled,onStart,onStop,onStuck,onResumed,onShutdown) now persist across restarts in the JSON config.
Upgrading from 1.2.0
- Replace the old JAR with the new one.
- Existing webhook-only configs continue to work unchanged.
- To try bot mode, set
notificationMode: "bot",botToken, guildId, andchannelIdvia in-game commands or directly inworldeaternotifier.json. - The new
pingSettingsblocks are optional — if absent they default to alltrue.
Installation
Download the JAR from the assets below, place it in your server's mods folder, and start the server. See the README for full usage details.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
