Changes
2.1.2 — 2026-06-08 "now you can throw your problems away"
New
- Throwable plushies. Press the new "Throw Plushie" keybind (you'll find it under Controls — Squishables) while holding any plush and you yeet it. It's a real projectile entity now —
ThrownPlushEntity— with its own GeoLib model, renderer, networking (ThrowPlushC2SPayload), and aPlushImpactResolverthat handles whatever happens when the plush hits something. The plush keeps its variant data mid-flight and lands as the same item you threw. Why does this exist. who can say. - John Egbert. The Homestuck nightmare child. Single variant. Crafted with glass on top, slime ball in the middle, white wool at the bottom (vertical center column). He got his own dedicated renderer (
JohnEgbertPlushBlockEntityRenderer+JohnEgbertItemGeoRenderer) because his geometry needed backface culling to not look like a layered mess. Worth it. - Ragatha and Gangle. Both from The Amazing Digital Circus. Both single-variant.
- Ragatha: red wool / string / white wool, top to bottom.
- Gangle: quartz / string / red dye, top to bottom.
- Both have "Made by obj_lily" in their tooltips. she did the actual art and deserves the credit.
plush_thudsound event registered for when a thrown plush hits something. (heads up: the .ogg file slipped out of the jar — sound plays silent in 2.1.2. patching in 2.1.3.)

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
