Armor While Riding Mounts
An idea I had that turned out to be possible!
This is exactly what it sounds like:
- Your armor stays visible while riding a mount with shaders enabled
- Custom helmet cosmetics render correctly
- Glints and tints work as well
IMPORTANT: This setting is disabled by default. You'll need to enable it in the WynnIris settings.
Other Features & Fixes
- Fixed handheld light-source emissivity on Complementary
- The entity emissivity slider now works properly
- The entity emissivity slider no longer incorrectly changes your handheld item's emissivity
- Added a brightness slider for non-emissive mobs, for when you're in a dark skybox
- Added a configurable brightness floor for text display entities, so they stay legible in the dark
- Added Photon support for VFX translucency. Toggle it with
/toggle vfx <low/medium/high/dynamic/unlimited>
Known Issues
- Going AFK while riding a mount turns you into a boat with some weird fragments around you. The boat is default Wynncraft behavior that I can't do anything about, so this won't be fixed. Just dismount and remount and your character goes back to normal.
- VFX translucency on Photon can turn slightly opaque in the dark. This is a limitation of Photon, not something I can reasonably fix.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
