Azur PVP

Azur PvP Classic — Minecraft 1.8.9 — Beta 1 (untested)

An experimental Classic edition for Minecraft 1.8.9 and Forge 11.15.1.2318.

Untested beta: No game launch, world loading/saving/reloading, multiplayer, shader or visual tests were performed. Compatibility metadata and downloads were checked, but runtime stability is not verified. Please report issues.

Included

• OverflowAnimations 2.2.5 and EvergreenHUD 2.1.7 by Polyfrost and contributors.
• Great Scrollable Tooltips 1.4.0.
• EntityCulling 1.8.9 port 6.5.0, RenderLib port 1.4.5.5 and ConfigurationsBackport 1.1. Credits and original project links are in MOD-VERSIONS.txt.

Differences from modern Azur PvP

• This is a minimal Classic foundation, not feature parity with the Fabric editions.
• No Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, Iris, Simple Voice Chat, Zoomify or Full Brightness Toggle.
• No BSL, shader engine, custom panorama or modern GUI resource pack in this first beta.
• Vanilla settings are retained; no options.txt override is shipped.
• Embedded OneConfig may download additional components on first launch; this bootstrap has not been tested.
• PolyPatcher is omitted. Java 8 is required.

Validation and world safety

Download hashes, archive integrity and declared dependencies were checked. These checks do not replace gameplay testing. Install as a separate instance. Never downgrade an existing newer-version world into this pack. Back up worlds and settings before changing versions; data-loss-free operation is not guaranteed. Follow your server's rules for client mods.
