Balanced Origins

Balanced Origins

A Balanced Minecraft Modpack

## 📖 Introduction **Balanced Origins** is a Fabric-based Minecraft modpack (with potential for a future NeoForge version), created purely because my friend was too lazy to configure his own pack. This pack aims to maintain smooth gameplay by adding and removing certain mods. Unlike packs that focus solely on chasing high FPS, this one prioritizes a **balanced experience**—optimizing performance while simultaneously improving overall gameplay quality. ## 🆚 Compare ### Testing Platform： - CPU：i7-8700K - GPU：GTX1080 - Memory frequency 3000MHz, allocate 2GB - The same save file, 32 view distances ### Average FPS： |Modpacks|Loading terrain|After Loading terrain|When turning around| |---------|--------|------------|-------| |This Modpack|~59|~237|~183| |Fabulously Optimized|~55|~159|~117| |Rapid Optimization|~301|~285|~264| |This modpack(before 26.01.31)|~59|~237|~183| |This modpack|~170|~272|~229| ## ✨ Key Features - Includes essential optimization mods found in other packs, but removes overly aggressive performance tweaks to improve stability. - Adds quality-of-life mods to enhance the experience, such as Client Sorts, Distant Horizons (disabled by default), Mouse Tweaks, and more. - A comfortable user experience to everyone (e.g., caramelChat for improved IME support). ## 🤔 Questions? - Check the [Q&A](https://github.com/HowSberban/Something/blob/main/Q%26A/en_US.md) - Submit [issues](https://github.com/HowSberban/Something/issues/new) ## About Donations **Please donate the original mod developers, NOT me!** # ⬇️ Other Optimization Modpacks - If this one isn't right for you, here are others.
