Changes
[balls_game_2] 2.0.0-beta.2
beta.1 shipped a tier-3 wall and a pack that could only be read as "a Create pack". This fixes the wall, makes Create's recipes visible at all, turns the endgame from a 13-day wait into a build, and gives the five non-Create halves of the pack somewhere to show up. 12 mods added, none removed.
added
- TooManyRecipeViewers [0.9.0] - Create's recipes were invisible in EMI. Create ships a JEI plugin and nothing else, and this pack has no JEI, so nine mods rendered no recipes at all: Create, Powergrid, Big Cannons, Diesel Generators, Dragons Plus, Central Kitchen, Enchantment Industry, Garnished and Schematic Energistics. TMRV runs JEI plugins against EMI without JEI installed.
- Caxton [0.6.4] - TrueType/OpenType font rendering, restored from 1.1.5
- Figura [0.1.6] plus Figura Extra Bone [0.0.3] and FiguraSVC [2.0.1]
- Simple Voice Chat [2.6.22] and Emotecraft [2.4.12]
- Sound Physics: Aeronautics [1.4.0.1] - a fork of Sound Physics Remastered that stops ignoring Sable sublevels, so airships and contraptions finally have acoustics
- Drive-By-Sable [r1.5.0] - cable networks for vehicles
- No Chat Reports [2.9.1], No Chat Restrictions [1.0.2], No Realms Button [3.0.4]
updated
- BandwidthOptimizer [5.10.30.104] -> [5.10.30.109]
- ModernFix [5.27.23] -> [5.27.24]
NeoForge stays on [21.1.248], Create on [6.0.10], EMI on [1.1.24].
removed
Nothing.
fixed
- The tier-3 wall.
powergrid:circuit_boardwas injected into the trial chamber reward table. It is a work-in-progress block with no recipe and nothing consuming it, so the drop was a dead item where a player expected the Powergrid unlock. Replaced withpowergrid:integrated_circuit, which is the item the ComputerCraft gate actually leans on. - Converted 21 shipped files to strict ASCII. beta.1 shipped em-dashes and arrows in ten server scripts and eight advancement descriptions.
changed
- Reworked neutronium (
neutronium.js). Avaritia's only source is the Neutronium Collector, a block with no inputs, no power draw and no upgrade path:CollectorTieris a hardcoded enum emitting one Pile of Neutrons every 3600 ticks, forever. One Infinity Ingot is 6,641 piles, which is 332 hours - 13.8 days of real time, at the same rate whether you built an AE2 network or placed one block and went to bed. Free neutrons come from cosmic-ray spallation, and the Moon has no atmosphere to absorb it, so lunar regolith has been soaking that flux for four billion years. Washing it now yields 3 piles at 25%, hooked onto the last stage of Rocketnautics' own existing chain (regolith -> crush -> crush -> wash), so no new step is invented. That is 0.75 piles per block mined: roughly 8,855 blocks per Infinity Ingot, a 55x55 patch three deep. The collector stays as the zero-effort fallback. - Rebalanced singularities.
condenser.singularitydrops from 256,000 to 32,000 inae2-common.toml. One Infinity Ingot needs 84 Diamond Lattices and each costs a singularity, so the stock number meant condensing 21.5 million items for a single ingot. Now 2.69 million, which is still a real Matter Condenser project. Side effect worth having: the AE2 quantum bridge becomes reachable in a pack with two dimensions. - Rebuilt the advancement tree from 17 nodes to 53, and from one branch to six.
beta.1 ran a single chain from Andesite Alloy to Infinity, so the vehicle, flight,
ordnance and fishing halves of the pack were invisible - across 1,550 lines of script
the pack referenced
aeronauticsonce andsable,offroad,drivebysable,cosmonauticsandselling_binzero times. The root now fans out:- Cogwork Begins - Create -> Powergrid -> AE2 (16 nodes, unchanged)
- Gone Fishing - Starcatcher tackle -> the Selling Bin economy
- Pig Iron - cast iron -> bored barrels -> cannon mounts
- Bring It To Life - Sable physics -> wheel mounts -> tires
- Get Some Air - propellers -> envelopes -> levitite
- Heavy Metal - titanium -> engine nozzles -> the Moon -> Infinity
Escape Velocitymoves off the AE2 controller and underThe Business End, so the road to Infinity now runs through the Moon rather than around it.
- Extended mob loot (
mob_loot.js). beta.1 had one drop. Four set-piece bosses now pay out: Elder Guardian gives golden wire, the Wither gives nethersteel, the Warden gives both AE2 cores, and the Ender Dragon gives raw titanium. Deliberately not extended to common hostiles - zombies are farmable to infinity, and any tech material on them becomes an unlimited tap. - Extended structure loot (
loot_injections.js). Five entries for the two pillars that had no presence in any loot table: Starcatcher tackle in shipwrecks, underwater ruins and buried treasure, bait in the fishing treasure pool, and cast iron in pillager outposts, which already hand out Powergrid wire. - Renamed
powergrid:magnetto Magnetized Alloy. Three magnet-named things across two mods were doing three unrelated jobs: a Powergrid crafting material, the Powergrid machine that makes it, and a Simulated physics block that attracts and repels by pole. Two disambiguation tooltips added alongside, following the same rule as the eight duplicate names resolved in beta.1. - Ships a main menu panorama (
[balls_game].zip), restored from 1.1.5. - Added Avaritia to the Create Addon Organizer as its own section, with the singularity group routed into it.
configureddefaults/grows from 71 files to 109.ae2-common.tomlis now shipped;tooltips.jswas described in beta.1 but never actually seeded, and now is.
known issues
selling_binhas no processor configuration, so it logsselling_bin:quality_foods_processor is not registeredfive times per load and the Selling Bin branch of the advancement tree ends on an unconfigured block.- Garnished's JEI plugin throws inside TooManyRecipeViewers during
registerCategories, so its dye-blowing and freezing fan categories do not appear. Everything else in Garnished does. Before TMRV, none of it appeared at all. - If
config/fml.tomldoes not exist before first launch, FML can crash with aNullPointerExceptioninDisplayWindow.initRender- it creates the file while its early-display thread is already reading it. SettingearlyWindowControl = falseavoids the code path entirely.
