In the quiet village of Ravenswood Bluff a demon walks amongst you, killing by night and disguised in human form by day. Will the good townsfolk put the puzzle together in time to execute the true demon, or will evil overrun this once peaceful village?

In Blood on the Clocktower dead players are never eliminated, every player knows something that can impact the outcome, players may enter a game after it starts, the Storyteller may give misinformation to players who are 'drunk' or 'poisoned', and the dynamic Storyteller role leads each game to a nail-biting outcome. No two games are ever the same and death is not the end...

--- "Clocktower" is a social deduction game that will remind you of games like Werewolf or Town of Salem. This modpack is an implementation of the game's mechanics that allows anyone to play Blood on the Clocktower in a format specifically designed for Minecraft and the 3D space it offers. Rather than trying to mimic the behavior of [the official app](https://botc.app/), which is made for a 2D environment, the design of the modpack starts with the actual board game and uses Minecraft's strengths instead of operating despite them.

This is a recreation of an existing board game! As such, it has a whole rulebook, which [can be found here](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/240980/blood-on-the-clocktower/files) thanks to The Pandemonium Institute. If you're a new player and not planning to be the Storyteller running the game, don't worry about reading this unless you especially want to. Your Storyteller can explain the bits you need to know much more digestibly. In order to start a game, you must have at least 5 players plus a Storyteller, and 15 players is the limit. You can also play in games I Storytell [on my server](https://discord.gg/VhZYAR8TjY). Gameplay for players is pretty intuitive, and for Storytellers, you can find a guide [on the Wiki](https://github.com/Sybillian/minecraft-botc/wiki/How-to-Storytell:-Before-the-Game).
