Changes

CaloCraft Update 1.1 is HERE

There's quite a few changes in this first post-launch update, I have removed a few mods for reasons I'll explain shortly, and I have done a massive overhaul of the graphics and sounds.

Firstly, the removed mods:

  • Terrastorage
  • SpawnAnimations
  • PureCopperTools

I removed these mods because:

  • Terrastorage was not really needed, and mostly redundant. No one used it.

  • SpawnAnimations still allowed mobs to attack the player whilst they were still coming out of the ground. So it was possible to have a creeper IED

  • PureCopperTools simply cluttered the crafting pool for no good reason.

Updated Graphics!

  • Updated Complimentary Reimagined 5.3 + Euphoria to Complimentary Unbound 5.4
  • Added in-depth PBR Materials
  • Tweaked Animation for cutting trees
  • Removed Minimal Shader
  • New Connected Textures
  • Reworked weather
  • Removed Various Texture Packs
  • Added Vanilla Mashup (and a shiny new menu screen!)
  • Added "AutoHUD"
  • Added "HoldMyItems"

New/Reworked Sounds

  • Made rain less loud
  • Made portals less loud
  • Rain & Portals will now play different sounds
  • Added new footprint sounds
  • Rain droplets will now make different sounds depending on the type of block it has landed on

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Crafting Conflicts for Vanilla Crafting Stations
  • Fixed Mobs attacking players before they (the mobs) spawned
  • Fixed the TARDIS landing with the door sometimes locked
  • Fixed The vortex clipping through the TARDIS doors
  • Fixed a big where employed villagers would not relocate their workstation after it was broken
  • Fixed a bug with chipped blocks being invisible
  • Fixed a duplication glitch
  • Fixed a bug where captured villagers would lose their trades upon being released
  • Fixed a bug where the skybox would rotate forwards and backwards at the same time
  • Fixed a bug where shaders would break upon entering or exiting a TARDIS

Known Bugs & Quirks

  • Various Crafting conflicts between Create crafting methods
  • Modded Items not always flush with new holding animation
  • Not every "shiny" item is reflective
  • General Server Lag/Frame loss with Create contraptions nearby
  • Some mods having outdated or poor tutorials
  • Extensive Loading times
