EverBloom 1.2 - Optimization Update
As promise, the optimization update is here. I've made massive improvements to the modpack in the performance-side.
Notable Changes
- Performance Gains
- RAM usage reduced by ~4 GB on average (Without Shaders)
- Dramatic GPU usage drop (Up to ~-40% without shaders, ~-18% with shaders)
- Smoother chunk loading and reduced stuttering
- World Generation Rebalanced
- Modded biomes had their region weights lowered
- Modded structures had their frequency reduced
- Few structures have been disabled to help with overlapping.
- Particle & Visual Optimizations
- Gameplay & Quality of Life Enhancements
Smaller Changes
- Some mobs have higher chance of spawning
- Minor balancing tweaks across multiple mods
- Added EverBloom to CurseForge
Recommended Settings
Allocate 6-10 GB of RAM (6 GB should be completely fine, its what I use)
