Reminders:

• Minecraft 26.1(.2) is technically a big update. Remember to only use mods, resource packs, shaders and other content that are marked as compatible with 26.1.2.
• Any worlds that are upgraded to 26.1.2 cannot be downgraded - backups are recommended.
• Java 25 is required, which most launchers, except MultiMC, handle automatically.

Major changes:

• Added Animatica Refabricated - a fork of Animatica with same features
• Removed Animatica - not updated yet
• Removed MixinTrace - should no longer be necessary
• Removed Polytone - not updated yet
• Applied optimizations for Cubes Without Borders
  • If using borderless and multiplayer, you can, if unfocused, observe gameplay without pausing
  • F11 will prefer normal fullscreen on Windows and Mac by default
  • Disabled Sodium Extra's macOS resolution optimization as it caused a partially black screen, enabled CWB's one instead
  • If your GPU driver crashes, the game will try to use borderless fullscreen instead of normal one
