A light fabric modpack focussing on performance, QoL, immersion and compatibility.
Unlike many other performance improving modpacks, Limitless focusses on having as little noticeable visual impact on the game as possible while still increasing framerates. Other modpacks might achieve a greater perormance boost, so if your PC struggles to run minecraft in general, this may not be the modpack you're looking for.
This modpack could be interesting for you if: -your pc runs vanilla mc in 24+ fps -you dont want to lose any details of vanilla mc's graphics while still boosting fps -you want to use refined optifine texturepacks -you want more customizability -minecrafts controls and QoL aren't comfortable enough -you want to easily host a multiplayer world for you and your friends
Improve performance significantly without affecting the visuals in any way (by default).
Features immersive ambient sound, sound physics and small visual tweaks like falling leaves.
Adds a mini- and worldmap, zoom, free camera and a whole lot of customizable actions like using inventory slots from your hotbar, automatically switching tools etc.
Supports custom skies, world events and almost any other important texturepack feature which would else be exclusive to Optifine.
Host a globally accessable multiplayer world for you and your friends using the "Open to Lan" menu. Go to https://modrinth.com/mod/ngrok-lan to learn more about how to host your world.
The integrated mod "Tweakeroo" has some options that may result in penalties by the server when used on a mp like Hypixel. These are disabled by default and need to be manually enabled through the modmenu setting, so just be careful what you enable while on mp. TL;DR: Tweakeroo mod bad for multiplayer, don't change it's settings if you're not sure if they are mp friendly.
Will work fine with all Fabric content mods (performance mods may cause conflicts tho).
Minecraft might need more time to launch. Everything else should be faster.
I STRONGLY ADVICE YOU TO NOT UPDATE THE MODS MANUALLY as this would very likely cause issues. If the pack doesn't work as intended after updating/changing mods, reinstall the modpack (in the modrinth app, go to options->reinstall modpack).
I will never upload an unstable version myself, so if you just use the latest modpack version everything should be working.
