Warning

Default API on the version is Vulkan, if you see crashes because of the Graphic API Vulkan, then go to options.txt, press Ctrl+F and paste preferredGraphicsBackend, and change API from vulkan to opengl.

Vulkan does give better stability and slightly more FPS than OpenGL, so if you want to use OpenGL for shaders, then experience slightly worse stability and performance on vanilla Minecraft.
