Tracing Light · Dark Tide Update Log v1.12.2 update4

⚡ Performance Leap

  • Launch speed significantly improved — game now starts within 60 seconds
  • Memory usage drastically reduced — more stable during long sessions
  • Minor performance optimizations — smoother framerate

⚔️ Balance Adjustment

  • Greatsword rebalanced — normal attacks no longer one-shot. Only critical hit + heavy attack can achieve instant kill, making melee combat more fair

👥 New Operators & Items

  • 2 new operators added
  • New items:
    • Laser Trip Mine
    • Claymore
    • Blindness Potion
  • Friendly Fire — mines now deal damage to teammates. Plan your placement carefully

🛠️ Bug Fixes

  • Fixed various underlying issues, further improving stability

⚠️ Known Issues

Issue Description Status
Weapon hot-load stutter 1-2 sec lag when receiving complex weapons (TACZ mod mechanic) Reported, awaiting fix
Server explosive_ammo failure Explosive ammunition not working on dedicated servers Reported, use LAN world for full experience

🔮 Future Plans

NRG+ will split into two update tracks:

Track Purpose Features
Official (Release) Stable builds Quality guaranteed — no game-breaking bugs, fixed within one week
Community (Beta) Experimental builds Maintained by successor 「Xingyin」, includes new content exploration
  • Official releases will not add new modes, but will continue optimizing existing ones
  • The temporarily disabled 「Manhunt」 mode will return on a future date

Trace the light, ride the dark tide.
