Changes

It's time for 1.20.4 and a major version bump!
Note: Most mods and dependencies have been updated, thus this version may run into compatibility issues if you attempt to directly upgrade from a 1.x.x version. It is recommended you make a new Minecraft instance and back up any files you have before upgrading.

Breaking Changes:

  • Updated to Minecraft version 1.20.4
  • Updated Fabric Loader to 0.16.9
  • Updated LWJGL 3 to 3.3.3

Removals:

  • Removed Smooth Boot
    • Note: This mod is no longer maintained since Minecraft versions above 1.19.4 address the main issues behind slow boot times. Thread Tweak is a maintained fork for those who need Smooth Boot's thread scheduling customization options.

Updates:

  • Updated the Monumenta Resource Pack to 5.3.0

    • Note: Minecraft will display a warning that this is an outdated pack when you load it. This is a false alarm and there should be no model or texture conflicts present.

  • Updated CIT Resewn to 1.2.2+1.20.4

    • Note: This replaces the previous forked version of CIT Resewn that was made by NickNackGus to address performance issues. This may change in the future if performance issues arise.

  • Updated Enhanced Block Entities to 0.10.1+1.20.4

  • Updated Entity Model Features to 2.2.6

  • Updated Entity Texture Features to 6.2.5

  • Updated Cloth Config v13 to 13.0.138

  • Updated Fabric API to 0.97.2+1.20.4

  • Updated Fabric Language Kotlin to 1.12.3+kotlin.2.0.21

  • Updated FerriteCore to 6.0.3

  • Updated ImmediatelyFast to 1.3.1+1.20.4

  • Updated Memory Leak Fix to 1.1.5

  • Updated Mod Menu to 9.2.0

  • Updated Puzzle to 1.6.1+1.20.4

  • Updated Reese's Sodium Options to 1.7.2+mc1.20.4-build.102

  • Updated Sodium to 0.5.8+mc1.20.4

  • Updated Sodium Extra to 0.5.4+mc1.20.4-build.116

  • Updated Starlight to 1.1.3+fabric.f5dcd1a

    • Note: Becase Mojang rewrote Minecraft's light engine to be more performant in 1.20+, this mod is no longer maintained. I have kept this version in the modpack since it does help with performance in some edge cases but it will be removed when the modpack updates to 1.20.5 or above.

  • Updated YetAnotherConfigLib to 3.6.1+1.20.4-fabric

  • Updated Zoomify to 2.14.2+1.20.4

  • Updated numerous configuration files. See the GitHub branch for more information
