🚀 Performance Edition v1.8 (Fabric 1.20.1)

Welcome to the 1.8 Release! This update focuses entirely on building a rock-solid, ultra-optimized baseline engine. We have frozen dependencies to legacy frameworks to maximize frames and eliminate startup crashes on mid-tier and lower-end hardware configurations.

🛠️ The Core Engine Stack (Frozen Baseline)

• Sodium: Locked in for maximum rendering efficiency and legacy hardware compatibility.
• Indium: Properly aligned with the Sodium lifecycle to prevent startup mixin crashes while handling custom rendering.
• Fabric API: Frozen to mid-2023 infrastructure to guarantee ecosystem stability and prevent networking errors.

⚡ Performance & Engine Optimization

• Memory Management: Layered FerriteCore and ModernFix to reduce total RAM footprint by up to 40% and neutralize Java memory leaks.
• Frametime Consistency: Integrated ImmediatelyFast and Entity Culling to eliminate micro-stutters, offload invisible entity rendering, and flatten frame spikes.
• World Loading: Deployed Fastload and Fast Noise to ease CPU strain during chunk generation and initial world boot.

🎨 Visuals & Client Enhancements

• Connected Textures: Loaded Continuity for seamless glass and block connections via Indium.
• UI Customization: Added Mod Menu, Zoomify, Gamma Utils, and Sodium Extra / Reese's Sodium Options for refined, multi-tab video configuration options.
• Cosmetic Tweaks: Enabled 3D Skin Layers, Wavey Capes, and Custom Skin Loader with zero performance cost to standard mesh pipelines.

🌐 Multiplayer & LAN Features

• Offline/LAN Connectivity: Integrated e4all and LAN World Plug-n-Play to easily host local sessions without port conflicts.
• Security & Privacy: Enforced No Chat Reports alongside Skin Restorer to maintain secure, cosmetic-friendly offline server play.

• Mods not yet added: BadOptimizations
