Changelog
New day, new update!
- Most blocks/items/mobs from 1.1 onwards have been removed from the game. Except Armor Stands and item frames. Because they're cool.
- Copper has also been removed from the game. Lightning Rods are still implemented, but they're made of iron instead. (1 ingot and 2 iron nuggets in a crafting table.) They otherwise act the exact same.
- Wood types have been condensed into 3 different types - Wood (oak), Dark Wood (dark oak) and Light Wood (birch). Mainly to still give variety for builds while keeping wood types low. You can still find all of the modern log variants, but they will only craft into the 3 different wood types I just mentioned.
- Axe stripping has been disabled (you can still make paths though if you want)
- Added Entity Model Features & Entity Texture Features because I forgot to
- Made a bunch of language changes, mainly that Deepslate has been renamed to Grimstone.
- Tooltips have been updated to properly use the texture from 1.1.
- Many structures have been disabled.
- Added cave chimes that play periodically (every 5-ish minutes) while the player's deep underground for long enough.
- Adjusted the in-game button guides so they look better at the game's small resolution.
- New Virtual Cursor sprite
- Ladders & minecarts have been made much faster. Along with this, rails have been made much cheaper, now requiring nuggets to craft instead of ingots.
- Trees (when chopped with an axe) will now destroy the entire thing in one go. This was added because chopping certain tree types with branching logs was really, REALLY annoying with fast graphics permanently on because you couldn't see some logs.
- Added spawning with a map as a setting to modpack config.
- Removed pillager patrols and pillager outposts. In the future I may add another method of getting ominous bottles so you can still do raids.
With all these changes to world gen, if you have an old world do keep in mind that trying to pick up some of the blocks that were removed will NOT work. The item will "drop" but you aren't able to actually pick them up. Unfortunately, my favorite mod I usually use for removing blocks (Block Swap) retroactively isn't for the version this modpack's on and I tried another mod and it didn't work so this will have to do I suppose. Sighhh...
From this update on, I want to work on adding new things unique to this port. Stay tuned...
Build, break, and fight!
