# This pack has been archived and will not receive further updates! ## Why would you use NeoForge for a performance pack when Fabric is way better at that? This pack is meant to be used as a base for adding your own mods on top of it and lots of bigger mods don't run on Fabric. If you don't plan to add any other mods to it and instead opt for a vanilla-experience I would suggest using a Fabric Modpack like [Adrenaline](https://modrinth.com/modpack/adrenaline). ## Benchmarks (Vanilla vs Performancify) on Performancify v1.0.2 Minecraft 1.20.1 ![Comparison between fps for vanilla and performancify (vanilla is at 881 fps and performancify is at 1670 fps)](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/98803ca5d1e3ec18501f004bba5fe70419e00132.png) ### Settings (The same on both Vanilla and modded) | Setting | Value | |---------------------|:---------------------:| | MINECRAFT | 1.20.1 | | Render Distance | 12 Chunks | | Max Shadow Distance | 8 Chunks | | Simulation Distance | 12 Chunks | | VSync | Off ❌ | | Max Framerate | Unlimited | | Graphics | Fancy | ## Mods used (On the latest version of the pack) ### Performance Mods: - [Sodium](https://modrinth.com/mod/Sodium) (Adding the efficient rendering engine.) - [Ksyxis](https://modrinth.com/mod/ksyxis) (Speeds up loading of the world by rendering all chunks every time you load a world.) - [ImmediatelyFast](https://modrinth.com/mod/immediatelyfast) (Optimizes all immediate mode rendering by using a custom buffer implementation) - [BetterF3](https://modrinth.com/mod/betterf3) (Makes the F3 menu customizable.
