Summit Realms is a Forge 1.20.1 survival world.
The idea is pretty simple. You join a party, claim some land, and build a place that slowly starts to feel like yours. Not just somewhere you put a bunch of chests and leave, but somewhere you'd actually be a little pissed off about losing.
We wanted the farming and survival side to actually matter. Farmer's Delight gives you a reason to have a proper kitchen. We blocked natural water sources in the wilderness on purpose, so if you want a pond, you have to dig one. You fish, grow food, cook, stock up, and use /larder so you're not scrambling for food when Friday rolls around.
The hub is a castle called Knight's Retreat. There are townsfolk around the castle that you can actually talk to, and they remember you when you come back. It's a small thing, but it's the kind of stuff we wanted the world to have.
Raid nights are Friday and Saturday from 8 PM to 11 PM.
During those hours, explosions can damage claimed land. Pickaxes can't. So the walls you built, the defenses you put together, and the food you bothered to prepare are what you have when someone comes knocking.
If you don't want to risk your own stuff, /arena gives you a kit-based place to fight. There's also a world boss during the day, and KOTH takes place on the gold during raid hours.
The economy uses Lightman's Coins. The season pass is based around actually playing and doing jobs. There aren't loot boxes or anything where you have to gamble for good gear.
For Java, you'll need our Modrinth pack.
Bedrock can connect on port 19132, but most of the mods won't show up for Bedrock players. We'd rather be upfront about that than have someone join and wonder why half the server looks different.
At the end of the day, we're just trying to make a survival server where the things you build actually mean something.
That's Summit Realms.
