The Forbidden Script

The Forbidden Script is a modpack heavily inspired by Arrenek's DREAD modpack, and is based around The Broken Script. This modpack is a work-in-progress, so expect many changes.

What is this modpack, and what does it do?

This modpack primarily focuses on ARG horror, which is mainly driven by The Broken Script mod. There are a variety of entities and events that can occur. This modpack is intended to be slowburn, it can take hours for major events to progress. The modpack mainly replicates many of the Alpha and Beta mechanics in Minecraft, as well as overhauling the entire world and lighting to do so.

In this modpack, you are no longer in control.

To access the config, cheats must be enabled, and run /TBS_config. This will allow you to disable certain events such as banning and game crashing. The END key has also been binded to cycle between fog/render distances in case your fog distance decreases dramatically due to an event.

Addressing multiplayer

Multiplayer is functional, however The Broken Script may not behave as intended. List of possible issues that might be encountered:

• Event engine breaking (events progress unpredictably)
• Unsolicited world corruption
• Lag (in some cases)
• Client side events breaking
