The Hundredth Dawn | 2.1.6

New Rating Tiers

• Rating now measures how many nights you survived. Reaching day 11 (surviving night 10) is 100 points; a final clear is 1,000.
• Tiers are now Cobblestone · Coal · Iron · Gold · Lapis · Diamond · Netherite, each shown as 0–99 within the tier.
• A valid final-boss clear takes you straight to Netherite, with your total clears shown in Roman numerals (I, II, III…). Netherite players are ranked by clears.
• Your first five runs are placement runs; their average sets your tier. Your current tier and "Placement n/5" are shown during placement.
• In a company, expectations are adjusted toward the group's average. Personal results use the last day each player was alive.
• Runs that end on day 1 no longer count toward rating or rankings. Existing records were recalculated with the new rules. Embers, purchases and supplies are unchanged.
• Three supply slots are now free; further slots open by tier (Coal, Iron, Iron 50, Gold, Gold 50, Lapis) or with embers. Slots you already opened stay open.

Records & Settlement

• The settlement screen shows rank changes (e.g. 12 → 8 ↑4).
• Survival records show each player's main weapon and main trace, plus any run in progress. Averages are rounded to whole numbers.
• Central saves now happen each morning from day 2 instead of every 3 minutes, plus a final save on normal exit.
• Central copies of fully settled runs are cleaned up automatically.
• When rejoining a run you left, "Return to Run" now appears where "Ready" was.
• Reduced waiting during world creation, joining and central saves, and reduced errors when continuing earlier runs.

Spectating

• The spectator inventory view shows the target's traces, invested memories and body-part health, titled "<name>'s Status".
• In first-person spectating, the spectator/health line now sits at the top left.
• Number keys open the player list directly.
• Spectators who leave via ESC → Disconnect also leave the company.

Combat & Monsters

• The first time a boss fight goes into overtime, you're told that night won't end until the boss falls and that hordes grow. Overtime hordes now announce themselves like regular hordes.
• Overtime reinforcements arrive at shorter and shorter intervals.
• Knocked-down players are no longer attacked, and the "Accept the End" button was removed.
• If no one can revive the last knocked-down survivor, the run ends. If the last possible rescuer disconnects, the game waits 60 seconds.
• Day 61–70 rosters use iron gear and day 71–80 rosters use diamond gear.
• Snow hunters now carry iron spears (day-based enchantments kept).
• Diseased zombies and skeletons break blocks in their way; stuck-prevention block breaking for basic monsters was tidied up.
• Fixed water-theme monsters taking damage in the morning, undead appearing without weapons, and the Wither boss showing two health bars.
• Boss max-health-based healing now works as intended. Sentry Vines no longer drop items.
• Fixed the horde safe-distance recovery rule. The horde start sound is quieter.

Weapons & Enchantments

• Weapon balance: sword (attack speed 2.0), axe (1.5, sword +25%), pickaxe (1.0, reach 2.5, sword +50%), dagger (2.5), longsword (1.5, reach 3.0, sword +25%), battle hammer (1.0, reach 2.0, sword +75%), spear (1.5, reach 3.0, sword −25%), boomerang (2.5, sword −25%), plus club and cestus adjustments. Boss loot is unchanged.
• Smite adds 2 undead damage per level; Sharpness adds 1 damage per level.
• Light Landing no longer appears as a new enchantment (existing ones are kept). Bows can have both Infinity and Mending.

Items & Healing

• Dropped belongings now appear where you died, not at your respawn point.
• Bandage and plaster tooltips show total healing and healing time.
• Fixed the Hearty Treatment trace not increasing healing.
• Fixed supplies sometimes not being handed out. Previously confirmed missing supplies were refunded in embers.
• Removed THD's extra totem tooltip; when you hold a totem and a companion can be revived, you're shown how.

Crafting & JEI

• Added JEI, curated to items you can actually get and make in THD. Decorations, color variants and utility blocks are hidden from the list.
• The inventory book button now opens and closes the JEI list. It starts open.
• Removed recipes for bowls, jukeboxes, rails, lodestones, shovels, hoes and zipline items. Items you already have stay.
• Added crafting guidance for mod weapons such as spears.
• Hid two advancements that were visible from the start of a run.

Note: From 2.1.6, you must update the game to 2.1.6 to enter the gathering.
